Niiice.... are they bringing out a NEW DVD with NEW extras on it or what? I can see why this (among with all the other alternate openings) was changed though. If Mulan keeps on wishing to "break free" so much, entering the army is just like a welcome opportunity for her. Of course she realizes 'that' later in the mountain-scene, but before that she herself believed her father being the main-ambition. Godknows that would have been different too if this song where switched.

I love how Mulan in the deleted scenes of Reflection looks close to being realistic. I also love how Mulan sings "They want a docile(?) lamb. No one knows, who I am. Must there be a secret me I'm forced to hide?!"

I like it a lot, cause it shows more of the whole 'different from the other girls' tomboy side of her. But I think if they'd kept this they would've been telling a bit different of a story. She pretends to be a man to keep her father from having to go, then when she discovers through training how good she is, it's more of a happy accident that she ends up finding her place their. If they'd gone with this, than it would feel like her finding her place in the army rather than the kitchen would kinda become the focal point of her reasoning. But I dunno, I might just be talking crazy as usual

Oh how I love that extended version. If you notice in the Christina Aguilera verison, they actually have that piece from that song that we're looking at the end of that video now. Sure would of been nice to hear the full verison from Lea Solanga herself, but I heard that she was upset or disapointment when they had to cut out half of that part she sang for that scene.
