Especially for you >D
I turn around and shout it in her face.
“CHOZI! Leave it!”
“What?” she asks me rather demanding then questioning, “This is a once in a lifetime chance – for you!” The Cubone shrugs for emphasis.
I give her the cold shoulder, but there seems to be no way out of this argument.
“You are a trouble-maker,” I open the mud-wrestling and turn around again to tell her the following into the her dazzled face.
“I don’t know
what you did, but there’s gotta be a reason that Gemma is trying to keep you calm.”
She hisses his name.
“Don’t take it personal, but I generally try to stay away from people like you! It’ll only get me into trouble.”
“Oh, and you’ve got enough of that, I take it.”
Okay, that came out wrong, but Chozi’s knowing and cold grin is almost scary.
“You have so much trouble that you’re stuck with, Levy from the land of humans, so that you don’t want to grapple with us.”
I’m falling a step back. What is she trying to…
“Exactly. As I heard I’m facing the queen of all trouble-makers here!”
“What the… you little brat!” I shove the bone, she had just brazenly pointed at me, away.
“Stop denying it and take me in your team. You won’t regret it.”
“I already regret to have even crossed your path!”
Chozi takes me in for a moment, apparently absent-mindedly. She then shakes her head and puts the sharpened bone back in her leather-belt.
“We’re getting nowhere here.”
I place my reflexively lifted front-paws back on the ground, watching her for any sudden movement.
“What else am I supposed to do? Begging?!?”
Her puny legs start to shiver and I the only thing I still see is how the Cubone breaks down on itself. Tentative I move forward.
“You’re just seeking shelter from Gemma?”
A strong sub is the only answer I get. This is weird.
I glance up at the ceiling of the base to avoid seeing this picture of misery.
“You could… ask.”
The sobbing stopped.
“Will you take me in your team?”
There was a long silence.
“Please?”
“Yes.”
